FINALLY I'VE BEEN TO LONDON!

Cannot believe i do Fashion and have NEVER BEEN!.

BUT the day i had to go was the day that Scotland was playing against England at Wembley, it was like an invasion of Kilts! The standard scottish Kilt was my view for the day! However, i didn't come to london to see Scottish Fans! NO TA!

Being a tourist for the day meant that i got to see top fashion retail shops that little village of evesham would NEVER hold. Just walking the streets of New Bond street, Oxford Street and various others made me feel like i had arrived wishing i got to be a part of the industry then and there!. Experiencing each shop along each and every street i was in heaven. Even though my bank balance wouldn't let me buy anything i still held the bags felt the fur and took photographs of the intriguing visuals. BeautyBumpkins Trip

Battle of the Primers

As pay day looms, all i can think about is what i can treat myself to. Something i've recently the past two years i've been interested in is make up. Getting the right makeup which doesn't harm my skin and possibly splashing out on some of the good stuff.

SO, i MUST i mean MUST get a new foundation cannot physically live without my MAC studio Fix Fluid. I haven't used anything different and quiet frankly i don't want to. The smooth textured finish over my skin has improved my skin dramatically. I already had sensitive skin so i never use strong make up remover liquids or moisturisers, Johnsons baby wipes come at me!. However, i've also recently run out of primer but i want to explore out of M.A.C makeup.

I am sooooo grateful to been given the opportunity to work with some amazing people!

The Combe Shed a newly opened Hair Spa in the middle of Craycombe Park in Fladbury. A old set of farm houses made into the most quirky unique little businesses. The new addition- The Combe Shed.

I've just completed my first two days at The Combe shed and what a relaxing happy atmosphere i was welcomed into! For people who know The Combe Shed you'll know how comfortable and enjoyable the experience is there to simply have your hair done! The homely atmosphere and interiors makes you feel at ease and with all the Aveda products we use you know your in the best hands.

With the stylists Graham West (owner), Sammi and Emily and Our Val you know your hair will have never felt better than when you've experienced The Combe Shed!. I can't wait to continue and see the business flourish!

Work Experience.- Event Co-ordiator

I've been working with 'The Wardrobe' to create an event to boost promotion.

The Wardrobe a local boutique/dress agency that is based in Welford on Avon.

'We will sell your designer and upmarket High Street Labels'. Simple straight forward and ingenious. There is nothing out there quiet like it. Hand picked collection pieces from names like Jimmy Choo to All Saints there's something for everyone. There there to help you find that extra special pre-loved outfit without the designer price tag!The beauty of the company.

When meeting Viki Weetman for the first time i instantly felt passion drive and determination for her business through the way she spoke about the company. Driving everything she knew into her personal project. However once she told me that she'd exhausted ideas we managed to write down everything we could which would bring new customers and age ranges into the Dress Agency.

A current work in progress, my first official event! I'm excited, scared, nervous and intrigued to see what i can actually pull off. Putting my communication, organisation and knowledge to the test!.

Progression

Contacting Venues has been the first step in accomplishing a plan. We've decided to look at the other side of Welford towards Evesham and Bidford to bring in new clients. So because of this looking at venues in these areas and possible bringing in other company's to compliment the wardrobe would be a unique and different experience to offer women. Areas like Vale Golf Club, Northwick Hotel, Wood norton.

The Idea

At the minuet the business is bringing in a 40+ age range in clients and Viki wants to see if the shop would appeal to 20 and 30year old women this is why we've currently come up with a Gok style evening for Yummy Mummy's.

Follow my progress on here and we shall see what happens in the not to distant future.

What to wear to a family do when they haven't seen you in year?

After not seeing part of my family for over two years what a great way to make a statement to dress to impress and show your sense of pride in the way you dress.

I'm that girl who isn't body confident at all when it comes to choosing colours. Before university my style was black on black, baggy and comfy. Now being more confident with the aid of talking about my body shape in a recent 'Voice and power of appearance' speech at University i've decided to dress to my shape and show off my curves!
Being proud of my body has given me the confidence to show off my style. Sophisticated and sleek. Experimenting with block colour has really helped me in being more confident that i can take risks and they can pay off. Next Venture a new colour. I take great pride in my hair and makeup and have found my perfect solution to brightening my complexion with a range of MAC makeup products.
